Appearance[]
Pavonne is a tiny foal whose coloring and markings are exactly the same as a male peacock, including an extravagant tail. She has vivid blue feathers flowing down her neck and chest that transition to a dull-green, brown and gray. The tail train is iridescent blue-green with the characteristic peacock ‘eyes’. Pavonne is standing in a grassy fir-lined glade on top of a rock outcropping covered in wildflowers, overlooking the water. Pavonne’s tail hangs down elegantly off the side of the rock almost touching the water. She is like a princess in all her courtly attire.

The Name Game[]
Pavonne is a lesser-known alternative spelling for a pavane, which is a slow processional dance from Europe during the 16th century Renaissance period. The earliest known dance was created in Venice by Ottaviano Petrucci. The dance was mainly used to slowly bring couples to the front of a courtroom to present themselves to their host, usually the queen. It was popular in the Elizabethan Court in England.[1]
